How to Create Digital Scrapbook Pages

If you are looking for information on how to design digital scrapbook pages, then keep reading. Digital scrapbook pages have many positive advantages over traditional scrapbooking. These include ease of use, clutter free table top, easily change photos, wording or layout and many other things. There are many programs are out there on the market that help you design digital scrapbook pages but I will share a simple and proven method here that does not require any special software.
1. Go to whichever folder your photos are stored under and decide on which ones you would like to use. Copy these and put them into a special folder just for this project
2. Once you have chosen your photos, open up Microsoft PowerPoint and open a new project.
3. Begin pasting in the photos you want on different cells of the PowerPoint scrapbook project. Resize the pictures until they are sized and positioned as you want them.
4. Add some clip art and/or decorations to the digital scrapbook pages based around the theme that you have chosen for your digital scrapbook.
5. Now you can add items that you couldn’t add to a normal scrapbook. You can include music, sounds or even small movie clips into your digital scrapbook design
6. Be creative and include some sort of writing describing the events that are portrayed on the pages. You can play around with the size and font of the type much easier than you could with a normal scrapbook
7. You can create cool schemes in which each slide appears and disappears in various ways.
Most importantly of all is to be creative and have fun with creating your digital scrapbook pages. Do this and they will bring you many years of great memories.
